Why did you become a part of Inspiration Bible: I became a part of the Inspiration Bible project because it was such a unique and novel idea. I felt drawn to the words ‘Inspiration’ and was sold on the idea when I realised that for every book sold, another one would be given away. I feel honoured to be part of a project which is designed to inspire and uplift people across the globe.

I am the creator of The Conscious Eater Programme: Changing your thoughts about food to transform your body and your life. I have worked in the field of health and fitness for 25 years. During this time I have trained thousands of health professionals and members of the public using a wide variety of psycho-social health interventions, from general health and well-being to specific exercise prescriptions for disease management and rehabilitation. Many of my clients followed the ‘eat less and exercise more’ public health recommendations, including myself, and were frustrated when they lost weight but couldn’t maintain it. I have been a chronic dieter for many years, having used food and exercise to control my weight. It is clearly evident this method does not work. After years of fighting with my body, we are now at peace. We are best friends. For the last 5 years I have changed my focus to researching and studying the mind-body relationship, dynamic eating psychology and its impact on weight management. I have trained in the field of mind-body nutrition and personal coaching, at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating. I bring a fresh new approach to understanding overeating, emotional eating, chronic dieting, body-image challenges, fatigue, digestive issues, mood and immunity by teaching you how to have a positive relationship with food. The skills I use are a combination of practical coaching techniques, results-oriented psychology, clinical nutrition, body-centred practices, mind-body science, and a positive and compassionate approach to challenges with food and health.
