Why did you become a part of Inspiration Bible: When this wonderful opportunity to contribute to the Inspiration Bible came along I didn’t hesitate to jump on board. There is something incredibly humbling about contributing to something that has the potential to change lives and I am very grateful to have had the chance. If sharing my experience inspires someone, especially someone going through their own cancer journey, then all of this has been worthwhile. Thank you Emily for sharing your vision.
After spending 36 years in the corporate world in a diverse range of industries Kate Welk decided that it was time to re-connect with what she was most passionate about – helping people realise just how much potential they had to live a life of purpose and fulfilment. And as a result her businesses – Mastering Change and Emerging Leaders Academy – were born. Kate’s mission was interrupted when she had a shock diagnosis of cancer however her ability to find the gift in any challenge allowed her to refocus on what was most important in her life as she went through nearly 2 years of treatment. Now she spends time re-building her business whilst mentoring and coaching clients to unlock their full potential. Kate has more recently fulfilled a childhood dream of writing when she joined the global philanthropic movement: the Inspiration Bible project. This has inspired Kate to undertake further creative writing projects and share her message. Kate loves to give back to the community and raises money for cancer charities such as the Jane McGrath Foundation and Cancer Council Victoria by sharing her story. “I’ve always found that someone saying something can’t be done is exactly the motivation for me to find a way to make it happen. And this is the philosophy that I love to inspire in my clients – to know that every challenge we experience is actually a solution patiently waiting to be discovered.” You can contact Kate via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
